Amy Grossman CPDT-KA fell in love with dog training as a teen when she took her elderly family lab back to training classes. They earned a CGC together! Amy then continued her training skills with her first Shetland Sheepdog. They earned a CGC and 2 therapy dog certifications. They dabbled in agility and Amy quickly fell in love with dog sports.

After college Amy worked at many doggie daycares where she credits her understanding of dog body language. She then mentored under the late Anne Springer and the wonderful Diane Kurkjian to learn everything she could about training dogs. She began to train dogs full time and starting Training Tails. 

Amy lives on the North Shore with her husband and two daughters, as well as two Shelties and a Lurcher (sighthound mix). 

She currently participates in Scentwork, Rally and Flyball with her pups!
